PERSONAL CHEF SERVICES

All events include consultation, menu planning, shopping, full preparation, service, and kitchen cleanup. Pricing is separated into a fixed chef service fee and the actual cost of food, which is passed through to the client at cost.

  • The most popular format is family style, allowing guests to dine at their own pace
  • Dinners typically last 2-4 hours; additional courses can be added or substituted

Sample Three-Course Menu Breakdown

Appetizers

Choice of 2-3 passed or plated options such as charcuterie and cheese boards, shrimp cocktail, grilled octopus, lollipop lamb chops, scallops in bacon, harvesters catch, seared rare tuna, ceviche, or house-cured salmon gravlax.

First Course

Soup, chowder, simple or composed salad, or seasonal starter presented family style or plated.

Main Course

Choice of one or two mains including cornmeal crusted cod, pan-seared salmon, shrimp and chorizo skewers, seared sea scallops, local flounder, grilled Statler chicken piccata, braised beef short ribs, seared rare tuna, fisherman’s stew, lobster ravioli, grilled swordfish, or grilled ribeye steaks.

Side Dishes

Two accompanying sides such as roasted vegetables, grilled summer vegetables, Cape Cod rice pilaf, quinoa and summer vegetable salad, Sicilian potato and green bean salad, roasted potatoes, risotto, or sweet potato ginger puree .

Dessert

Homemade desserts available for a fee. European gourmet cakes available at cost. Many guests prefer their own or to enjoy something later.

Service Style

Family style, plated and served, or a combination. Children’s options are available upon request.

Dietary Notes

Vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy accommodations are available.

POLICIES & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Food Cost & Shopping

Food is charged at actual cost. Chef handles all shopping and sourcing. Specific preferences (organic, grass-fed, locally sourced) can be accommodated. A grocery deposit equal to the estimated food cost is due 5 days before the event.

Gratuity

Not included; a customary gratuity of 20% of the total service fee is suggested.

Cancellations

Full refund if cancelled 7+ days in advance; 50% refund within 3-6 days; no refund within 48 hours.

Equipment

Chef brings specialty tools and prep equipment. Client provides a functional kitchen, appliances, empty dishwasher, refrigeration, trash bins, and tableware.

Booking

A 50% deposit of the service fee is required to confirm the date. The balance is due on the day of service.
